Gov. Blunt Promotes Math, Science Studies

Gov. Matt Blunt looked over eighth-grade algebra students' shoulders Wednesday as they worked on exponential equations at Holman Middle School in St. Ann. The stop was one of a number of school visits Blunt has made to highlight his concerns about students' math and science skills.
Last week, Blunt held a day-long math and science summit in Jefferson City. A working group is expected to come out with a report in August that will include strategies to strengthen Missouri's math and science education.
