Dear Fellow Missourians,

Close to 4,000 Missouri women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. Like many Missouri families, my family was touched by breast cancer when as a teenager I lost my mother to the disease.

For those we have lost, for those struggling to overcome breast cancer, and for the countless survivors, we must carry the hope for finding a cure to our neighborhoods and our communities. I have enjoyed participating in the Race for a Cure, a fundraising effort to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

This year I ask that you please join me to help raise money and awareness for this very important cause. I urge you to participate and sign up today as a member of my team.

The race is Saturday, June 16, in downtown St. Louis. It is just $20 per person to participate. Your registration will include both an official race and team t-shirt. To make it easy, I have included instructions below on how to register with my team to help support the Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure^®. The deadline is May 25, so please sign up today.

As your First Lady, I will continue to encourage Missouri women to take time for breast cancer screenings and will continue to look for ways to promote breast cancer research and awareness. I appreciate your support and hope you will join me in this worthwhile endeavor.

Set up a login account with your e-mail address and follow the step by step instructions to read and authorize the waiver and enter your name and contact information.
When prompted if you are registering as part of a team, please select Yes.
Select "Team Melanie Blunt - #4107" from the pull down menu. The Team Number will automatically appear in the appropriate box.
The next section applies to corporate and school sponsored teams, like Team Melanie Blunt. To ensure you receive both your Team Melanie Blunt and your Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure® T-shirts, please complete this section by selecting Friend in the pull down menu.
Fill in the First Name and Last Name boxes with Your First and Last Name or the person who recruited you.
Fill in the Building: Missouri Republican Party
Complete the rest of the registration and payment information as instructed.
