Governor and First Lady Gather with Local Republicans for Food, Fellowship, and GOP Fun!

 On Saturday, Governor Blunt and First Lady Melanie Blunt rallied in Springfield at a barbecue in Phelps Grove Park with fellow Republicans to share in food, fellowship and good old-fashioned GOP fun!
The event was hosted by T.A.R.G.E.T. (The Association of Republicans Getting Everyone Together) and featured "The Greatest Bar-B-Q Ever!" Governor Blunt, Congressman Roy Blunt, Senate President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons, local Senators and Representatives, and Greene County officials were on hand to speak to the crowd and mingle with local Republicans. Governor Blunt even helped serve barbecue to hungry attendees.
"Melanie and I always enjoy the opportunity to fellowship with other Republicans who share our common values and goals," Governor Blunt said. "It is only with the help of active Republicans like these that we are able to continue leading Missouri in a positive direction that respects the conservative principles of small government, low taxes, and traditional values."
